Wantagh Library cardholders are invited to participate in the library’s telescope lending program! Reserve the telescope anytime and borrow it for up to 1 week. Click here to request the telescope
GUIDELINES FOR BORROWING AND USE:
- A valid Wantagh Library Card must be presented at checkout
- Borrower’s must be 18 years of age or older
- Borrowers must be in good standing (no lost books or fines over $5)
- Borrowers must accept and sign the agreement each time the telescope is borrowed
- The telescope may be borrowed for a 7 day period and may be renewed if no other patron is waiting to take it out
- The telescope must be returned inside the library to a staff member, it can not be returned in the outside book drop
- A late fee of $10 per day will be assessed for each day the telescope is late
