The Wantagh Public Library has the right to limit the use of the passes for individual families as a result of misuse or abuse of passes.
You are responsible for planning your trip. It is the responsibility of the borrower to contact the Museum directly for hours of operation, parking information, special events, and/or directions. Be sure to check the museum’s hours before your reserve a pass or visit a museum. Not all events/exhibits are included with the library museum pass. Additional fees are your responsibility. Please contact the museum directly for more information. You must bring both the museum pass and your library card when visiting a museum.
WE HAVE TWO TYPES OF PASSES:
Print on Demand Pass:
Print On Demand passes are valid ONLY for the DATE OF THE VISIT printed on the pass. These POD passes are printed at the time of reservation and do not need to be returned to the library. Reserve these passes for the day of your museum visit.
Pick Up/Return Pass:
- Empire Pass
- LICM – Long Island Children’s Museum
Passes are to be picked up at the Adult Reference Desk in the library. Passes may be borrowed for two (2) days, are barcoded, and must be checked out at, and returned to, the Adult Reference Desk one (1) hour before closing on the due date. Reserve these passes for the day before or the day of your museum visit.
Dropping passes in the book drop is not allowed.
Late charges are $10.00 per day. (Ex. 3 days=$30.00)
In event of loss or mutilation of a Pass, a fee will be charged for a replacement of that Museum Pass.
In the event that a pass is not returned on time, causing the Library to pay the entrance fee for the next user, that fee will be attached to the delinquent borrower’s record, in addition to all applicable late charges.
